Perpetually elemental

90” X 90’’ cut and formed steel plate, comprised of two pieces, assembled on burnt plywood shadow forms.

A syncretic journey through motherhood and displacement while finding belonging in the universal experience of a common earth, this piece reflects on the reconciliation of reverent humility.

To inhabit a pre-eternity which may be easily taken for granted but glorious in its ability to remind with its perpetually elemental force.

To ever change, adapt and yet, constantly birth, engulf and contain all of the human experiences in its own womb.
